  • 2.2Lifting, climbing, working at heights and the use of plant, tools, equipment and PPE are carried out in accordance with workplace requirements

  • installing and maintaining at least one (1) of the following pole/structure types: wood, steel, concrete, composite
  • installing and maintaining at least three (3) of the following hardware types: insulators, cross-arm braces, cross arms, pole steps, shackle straps, earth leads, traction supports, traction registration, bonding
  • using at least one (1) of the following pole stabilisation methods: compaction, baulking, stays, concreting (including formwork)
  • dealing with an unplanned event on at least one (1) occasion
  • obtaining and signing on and off relevant work permits in accordance with workplace requirements
  • completing relevant work records, reports and documentation
