4 Apply finishing material

• 4.1Apply finishing material in accordance with manufacturer specifications until required build is achieved
• 4.2Cut back finishing material to remove surface defects or foreign material in accordance with workplace procedures and standards
• 4.3Burnish surface with fine steel wool and lubricating oil to achieve even sheen

5 Clean up work area

• 5.1Check, clear and store equipment and any unused materials in accordance with workplace procedures
• 5.2Clean work area and safely dispose of waste including wood filler and lubricating oil rags, showing regard for spontaneous combustion risks, in accordance with workplace procedures and environmental standards
